Everything you need to know before booking your apartment
Prices
Prices are per apartment per night, for the number of people specified. VAT included.
Services included in the price
- Buffet breakfast
- Daily cleaning (excluding kitchen) and final cleaning
- Use of the spa, garden and outdoor hot tub all year round, and the heated pool in the summer
- Guest car park
- WiFi access
- Alto Adige Guest Pass: entitles you to free public transport around the province of Bolzano, as well as the free ski bus to/from the Gardenaccia chairlift and other nearby lifts
Extra beds
The price of an extra bed in your apartment is based on age:
- 0-3 years: € 30 per day
- 4-12 years: € 65 per day
- 13+ years: € 80 per day
Tourist tax
The tourist tax of € 2.30 per person per night is not included in the price and is to be paid locally. Children under the age of 14 are exempt.
Deposit
A deposit of 30% of the total price is required to confirm your booking. You can pay online here.
Cancellation policy
In case of cancellation, the following conditions apply:
- Up to 90 days before arrival date: free cancellation
- 89-30 days before arrival date: 40% of total price will be charged
- 29-7 days before arrival date: 70% of total price will be charged
- 6 days-24 hours before arrival date: 90% of total price will be charged
- For same-day cancellations, no shows and delayed arrivals: 100% of the total price will be charged
Travel insurance
Life happens. That’s why we recommend trip cancellation insurance in case you’re forced to cancel your travel plans at the last minute, your arrival is delayed or you need to leave early. Find out more and insure your stay with us here.
Minimum stay
Outside of low season we usually require a minimum stay of 7 nights, arriving and departing on Saturday. To check availability for a shorter stay, contact us directly.
Check in and check out
Check in: from 3 pm on arrival day. Planning to arrive after 7pm? Please let us know.
Check out: before 10 am on departure day.
Payment
The balance is due at check out. You can pay by credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard), cash or cheque.

Did you know…
We offer secure ski and bike storage
Here at La Bercia we have two ski/bike deposits complete with ski boot warmers, one in each building. You can access them with your room keycard.
There’s a laundry room for guests
It’s located on the ground floor of the main building, next to the ski/bike deposit. The laundry is open around the clock and detergent is provided. Each apartment has a clothes rack for drying.
Washing up liquid is provided…
Washing up liquid, sponges and dishwasher tablets are provided in the apartment, so no need to buy them.
…as are salt and pepper
While salt and pepper are provided, unfortunately we are unable to provide other basic foodstuffs like olive oil and sugar. However, there are shops and supermarkets nearby where you can find everything you need for your stay.
You can enjoy an espresso in your apartment
All apartments at La Bercia Alpine Lodge come with an Illy espresso maker. You can buy capsules at reception (please note it only takes Illy pods and is not compatible with other brands).
You can ask for a microwave if your apartment doesn’t have one
Some apartments – Conturines, Panoramic 105, Panoramic Superior 103 and Sassongher – don’t have a microwave, but if you need one just let us know and we’ll provide it.
You can rent e-bikes
We partner with Ski & Bike Rental Skibar in nearby San Cassiano, so you can rent e-bikes at reception and have them delivered straight to La Bercia, no need to pick them up and drop them off at the shop.
Each apartment has its own parking space…
Each apartment has a dedicated parking space in our private car park, next to the restaurant car park. Need an extra space? Let us know in advance and we’ll arrange it.
…there’s covered parking for motorbikes…
We offer outside parking with a roof to shelter your bike from the elements.
…and a charge point for electric cars
We’ve installed an electric car charger near the main building. Let us know if you need to use it during your stay and we’ll explain what to do.
Access all areas
Your room keycard opens everything you need, including the barrier to the guest car park, the entrance to the main building via the garden and the ski/bike deposits.
There’s a ski bus stop right outside La Bercia
Parking near the ski lifts can be hard to come by during the winter season. Luckily there’s a ski bus stop next to our car park that drops you right outside the Gardenaccia chairlift and other nearby lifts in just a few minutes. And it’s completely free (see below).
The Alto Adige Guest Pass is included
Why travel by car when public transport is this easy (and did we mention free)? Take bus and shuttle services around many locations in Val Badia, as well as further afield. With the Alto Adige Guest Pass you can travel throughout the province of Bolzano. No sitting in traffic, no trying to find parking spaces – plus you’ll be helping us to protect our mountains!
